In addition to our customary donations and scholarship grants, the Foundation's Charity Committee made an additional unprecedented contribution of $20,000 to the Twin Towers Orphan's Fund. After the tragedy of September 11th, members of the Southern Federation were so overcome with grief and concern for the families who suffered such a great loss that a special drive was undertaken from both local clubs and individuals. The final check was presented at the July 4th annual convention.
